No Money, No Food

Hi guys!

Testweek has started, woohoo... Had my first two tests today, one didn't go so well and I don't really know about the other test.. But we'll just have to wait and see :-) No stress!

This is another piece of my Climate Change collection for my school project. This one is about the fact that there will be less water and food for for example Africa. You can see people and children suffering from famine in the top. The skirt is made of a golden lamé fabric. This shows the wealth and the money that's needed to help the people in those places.

Ice, Ice, Baby

Here I am, posting icy pictures while it's 18 degrees Celcius outside! I loooove this weather. I've been relaxing outside in my garden all day. All I miss is the music of the Beach Boys... I think I'll update my iPod tonight!

So, about this dress. :) It's the thrid look I'm showing you of my Climate Change project. This dress is about the melting poles. The top is shiny, yet fluffy. It shows the polar bears and the shiny part is for the ice. When the sun is shining on ice, it gets this pretty sparkle on it. I think that's so pretty, so I tried to get it in this top. The skirt resembles the melting ice. The top of the skirt is white, but lower in the skirt it gets more and more blue. I actually planned to make the skirt entirely with those petal kind of things, but the fabric on the bottom curled up when I cut them into the petals, so I decided to do it this way. Hope you guys like it!

I'll try to post outfit pictures & pics of my new funny Primark sunglasses soon! :)

Tropical Wreckage

This is one of the pieces I created for my school project. This piece is specifically about the fact that the rainforests will disappear (as a result of climate change). With this piece belongs a skirt with a skull on it, which stands for the disappearing (the dying) of the forests. The top shows lots of animal prints and feathers, which - of course - shows the variety of animals living in the forest. On the top of the top you can see some leafs: all the animals live underneath a huge canopy.

I'm sorry for not showing you the entire piece yet, I'll show it soon!

By the way, I went shopping today again haha. My mother & I spend a few hours in Rotterdam Alexandrium at Primark this morning :) Bought a couple of cute things and some really funny sunglasses, which will also be online soon!

Cherry Blue Skies

woooohooo I'm loving the weather as it is right now!! Blue skies, nice temperatures, too hot outside to wear a winter coat... Almost too warm to wear a jacket at all! OK maybe not, but it's making me happy haha after all the cold weather of last winter.. It's getting better and better, I'm hoping it stays like this!

So a couple of weeks ago I did a photoshoot with Madison Pollard for my school project.. Here's one of the pictures he took, I love the atmosphere and the small piece of plant on the left...

The make-up was done by me, I guess you could say that it was "Black Swan" inspired! Hope you guys like the shot, and stay tuned for more! :D (for example: me explaining why I'm wearing an umbrella haha!)

I went to the musical Miss Saigon last Friday evening with my mother, it was so beautiful, I cried soooo hard at the end haha! In the afternoon we went on a huge shopping spree :) I bought a lot, and one of the things I bought are these shoes shown below! I bought too much to show everything here, so you'll probably see all of the items soon on my blog, in outfits!!
