Parijs - Ik wil er wonen (+ cityguide)

Vorige week vrijdag was het ein-de-lijk zo ver: na maandenlang verlangen gingen Rinske en ik naar Parijs! Ik ben verliefd op die stad. Sinds ik ongeveer 8 jaar was, is het mijn droom om in deze prachtstad te wonen. Rins & ik gingen met de Thalys en dat was werkelijk ideaal: we stapten in op Rotterdam Centraal en in ongeveer 3 uur zaten we in hartje Parijs. Stel je voor: in dezelfde tijd zitten we in Groningen!! Waaaauw. Natuurlijk hebben we een heleboel foto's gemaakt, maar ik wil jullie ook graag een aantal tips geven van dingen die je volgens ons écht niet mag missen in Parijs!

Vakantiekiekjes

Ik ben weer terug van vakantie, hoera! Van 6 tot 27 juli zat ik in het zonnige (en minder zonnige) Hongarije. Ik had eerder mijn vakantiefoto's willen plaatsen, maar het internet op mijn kamer in Utrecht wilde het niet doen en er kan geen LAN-kabel in mijn Chromebook, dus het was helemaal hopeloos, haha. Maar goed, het is gelukt, de foto's zijn uitgezocht, dus hier ben ik met mijn vakantieverhalen! Ik kan alvast vertellen dat we niet heel veel hebben gedaan, maar we hebben wel een uitstapje gemaakt naar Boedapest. Benieuwd hoe dit allemaal was? Lees dan snel verder :-)

Stylight Holiday Summary

I told you guys about STYLIGHT before, but besides using it to share your style, it's also great fun to create a board about your holiday using the items and everything they offer! And that's exactly what I did. I made a summer holiday summary for my holiday in France, and I might also do this for the holiday I'm on right this moment. I bet I'll be sunbathing in the garden now, or playing with the dog, reading magazines, reading books, swimming in Lake Balaton, or anything else you mostly do on holidays. Maybe I'm shopping....... Could be the situation as well.

In the first part of the board, you can see something you've already seen on my blog as well: my basic beach outfit (see the post here). Beside the pic of me you can see shorts from Levis, a sweater from Object, a lace top from Modstrom and a crop top from MET Jeans. With all those items you can create a lovely basic beach outfit like mine. The nice thing about STYLIGHT is that you can buy the items through the website. You can easily click a button which will lead you to a webshop.

Below this you can see something I love so much: printed or embellished shorts. I love the peacock shorts from Bambam. For the other brands, you can follow this link and simply click on the items you'd like to see the brand of. You can also see a preview of a post in which I'm wearing neon shorts. I bought the beauty in Barcelona. For a citytrip to Barcelona you'll probably need some basic items like sunscreen, a hat and definitely a bag which can be closed VERY good. There are so many pickpockets in Barcelona, so be careful for this when you're going!!

Then: a trend I absolutely LOVE. Printed bathing suits. Most of the bathing suits you see in my board are from We Are Handsome. This brand seriously has the BEST printed bathing suits. For those of you who don't like bathing suits, I also put a couple of printed bikinis in the board ;-). And of course you can see my version of this trend. The beach in France is perfect for photoshoots, and this shoot turned out amazingly. You'll definitely see more of the bathing suit I'm wearing, which is from Mr Gugu & Miss Go!

Then last but not least: we visited my all time favorite museum: that of Salvador Dalí in Figueres. I love his art, I've been in love with it since I was about twelve years old. I'll probably love his art forever. That's many many years to come. We visited this museum as well a couple of years ago, but it still doesn't bore me. That's the amazing thing about Salvador Dalí, to me. He tried so many styles, and everything worked. He also created some jewellery, and as my Instagram followers might have already seen, you can see a picture of my favorite piece in this board. It's a heart, and it can actually beat. Like a real heart, indeed. This piece of jewellery can amaze me anytime, but as this would probably be way to expensive, I'd settle for a cute ring like the ones next to it.

Holiday, Celebrate!

Tomorrow I'm off to France for my holiday guys!!! I'll be going to the south of France, try to get a tan by lying on the beach all day (and of course I'll fail: I can't get a tan), have romantic walks on the beach with my girlfriend, shop till I drop and just have an amazing time. My parents already left last week, and as they are able to get a tan, they'll probably laugh out loud when they see my snow man-white face... Gotta love them!

I'd love to show you where I'm going, as I've already been there a couple of times and I just love it there. I love France, especially the south of France (and Paris, of course). Sun, beach, no cold summers... Oh how I wish I could live there! Well, let's dream some more by checking out these pics I took over the years!!

Old pictures haha so the quality isn't that great. But don't you just love the look of the weather, the flowers, the swimming pool, the fraise tralala slushie? I can't wait to be in France!!

I do have some posts for you guys, as I can't leave you with nothing for about two weeks (although I did, yes, I know). I've got one post per week planned (two DIY's!), so be sure to check out my blog ;-) I might be able to update my blog during my holiday, but I'm not quite sure about that...

Little Bit of Back in Time

Hi guys!

I promised to show you some more pictures of Hungary, so here they are! I'm showing you the pictures of my precious bathing suit, which isn't exactly suitable for swimming competitions, or maybe even swimming at all. But oh, how I love it! The flowers on the top, the small diamonds in the flowers, the color, the shape... I saw it in store, fell in love with it, and fell even more in love with it after seeing the "SALE!" tag on it. Only 14 euros, my dear followers. Fourteen, yes. Well, I won't keep you any longer, here are the pics!

Holiday in Hungary

Hi guys!

Holidays ended not even a week ago, but it feels like ages ago already. I just started my study arts & economics in Utrecht, and so far I'm enjoying myself there. It's actually a very, very bad place for me to study: the faculty is based in the center of Utrecht. As you might know I'm a huge shopping addict. Let's hope I won't buy too much, but the past two days (I know, that's not a lot, but hey it's something!) have gone pretty good. Plus, I'm a poor student now, so I don't even have a lot of money for new clothes or shoes or bags or jewellery...

But enough about that now. The 29th of August, we went back from Hungary to the Netherlands. It was an amazing holiday, probably one of the best in my life. We had so much fun, too bad it's back-to-school time now! Here are some pics of our holiday. I've also got a bathing suit post for you guys! I bought the most amazing bathing suit at River Island, I can't wait to show you guys, but I still have to sort out all of the pics, so stay tuned! ;-)

Back Home

Hi guys!



Last Thursday I got home from my holiday on Kos. While I was there, I used my phone to post two posts on my blog but as I'm home now, I can use my computer again so the pics will be bigger and better!

I had a great time at the hotel, Kipriotis Hippokrates, and the people over there were amazing. :-) I'm not ready yet checking all my photos but of course I'll show you pictures very very soon.

By the way........ I graduated! Yay!! Oooo you can't believe how happy I am! My friend has some pictures of us on her camera, I'll post them as soon as possible! :-)

Feels like Greece

Welcome to Balnéo, the spa pool complex of Yelloh! village Le Sérignan Plage. Close your eyes and imagine yourself lying on a sunlounger in Greece. There isn't any hassle or splashing you hear, just soothing music and the sound of the bubble bath. Walk the massage pathway (a walk against the current on a bed of pebbles which massages the feet, soothens the legs and strengthens the tighs), take a dive in the 23 degree music batH where the soothening music is audible under water and warm up in the 30 degree water massage bath: a big, round pool which provides lots of hydro-massage to relax neck, back, legs and feet.

honey, I'm home!

I'm back in Holland again! Pretty sad about it: I'd rather be lying on the beach now or swimming in the sea (even though it was only 18 degrees!!).. My holiday has been great, we went to Sérignan Plage, south of France. I'll try to show you everything about it in a few posts :)

The first trip we made was to Cap d'Agde: a harbor town about 30 km (33 minutes) away from Sérignan Plage. On the boulevard you can find lots of small shops, from art to clothing and shoes. I didn't buy anything there, but just looking at everything was great!

Almost forgot this: Robin let me use his old camera, a Canon 350D! Had a lot of fun photographing with it, so thank youuuuu Robin! :)

Fashion & Simplicity in Paris

So here's my big surprise. The last day (I'm actually pretty sad I went just three days... But that's only a good reason to go to Paris again soon!) in Paris, we first went to visit the Notre Dame, I love the church, it's so gorgeous! After this, my mother and I walked through les Tuileries. The weather was gorgeous, I even took my coat off!

Then suddenly saw a crowd of people, and so we went there to check it out. Turns out it was a crowd of bloggers and other fashionable people (including bag ladies - on the first picture on the right, with the white maxi skirt - who also looked great). I was too excited to take lots of pictures, because I just kept looking and looking and looking. My eyes almost fell out, haha. But luckily, my mother took pictures. Seeing all those people standing in front of the Viktor and Rolf show (which was probably going on allready, not sure but I think so according to the music we heard..) made me realise how much I wish to be able to go to a Paris Fashion Week show. It made me realise how big my dream to be a fashion professional is. But enough talking for now, I'm gonna show you the pictures! (I don't have that much pictures, but it's enough, I think haha)
