DIY Lace Cross Top

I got lots of questions on how I made the lace cross top (which I wore here) so I decided to give you guys a tutorial on how I created this! I didn't take pictures when creating the grey one, so I created a new one. Follow the following steps and you'll end up with a lace cross top!

First you'll need to get yourself a top and some lace fabric. Also, make sure you've got some scissors that are made specially for fabrics!! If you use paperscissors, the cross won't come out as good as when you use fabricscissors (you can buy a good pair at Hema!)


Then, after choosing your top & findin the lace fabric: cut a cross out of the fabric after deciding how big you want it to be


Mark the places where you want to cut a cross out of the top. I cut a smaller cross out of the top, so that I was able to sew the cross on it without having a very hard time. Then cut the cross out of the top


Sew the lace cross on your top and you're all done!

I'm wearing: primark necklace, zara blouse, H&M skirt, primark tights and andre shoes.

As you might have noticed, I'm addicted to this necklace, haha. I love the peacock feathers. It's just that when I'm wearing it, I always think of peacocks and that makes me think of the song Peacock by Katy Perry, which I love. The thing is that the song gets stuck in my head all day. "I wanna see your peacock, cock, cock, your peacock!"

Well, I think I'm gonna go back to studying again. My testweek's coming up and I want straight A's! (OK that's not gonna happen haha, but I do want to get good notes! :P)

we first went to Amsterdam, to the IJhallen: an enormous vintage market. but as the rain was pouring down from the sky and it was an open-air market (arrrrgh) we were soaking wet and didn't see the entire market. I bought only one thing at the IJhallen: a velvet brown maxi skirt. I'm still searching for a top that'll go perfectly with it, but when I have it, I'll immediately show you the skirt!
After the IJhallen, we went to Rotterdam, where we first had lunch at Cafe FLOOR, then went for some shopping, took pictures and had dinner at Caffè Italia.

And now, here we goooo, the pictures of what I wore!! :)






ok this is not my camera but oh how I wish it was! I think I'm gonna save some money and buy one! :D (if you have any tips on which camera is a good one for beginners, do tell! thanks!!)

I went to a blogger meeting last Sunday, it was amazing! the pictures are coming soon, we first have to share all our pictures. I'll immediately post them when I've got all of the pictures!
