Goed, back to business: wat heb ik allemaal gekocht?

Shopping: Finally got my Herschel bag
Jarenlang verlangen, websites bekijken, zoeken...

Nooit. Of toch...?

Shopping: Pants, Shirts & Monsters
English: Last Sunday I went to the Swan Market in Rotterdam with my girlfriend. After that, we went on a tiny shopping spree in the city center of Rotterdam. I wasn't planning on buying anything, but couldn't leave these two items behind. They were screaming my name haha ;-). We bought the cuddly monster at the Swan Market, which is by the way a great place to find some DIY inspiration!
More information about the Swan Market (in Dutch) can be found here, and if you want such a cute cuddly friend for yourself, you can find more information on this etsy page and on this website. Aren't they amazing? :-)

Shopping: Transparent bag
Stradivarius bag
THIS bag. I searched for something like this for a long, long time, but during my holiday to the south of France (and the short visit to Barcelona) I found it: a transparent bag. I also love those Russian matryoshka dolls you can see in the pics. As a child, I loved finding smaller and smaller dolls inside every doll. I think I could literally spend hours doing this, and putting them back together. They squeaked a bit while I separated them, but I guess they haven't been separated in a very long time...
School starts again tomorrow, so I hope I'll have enough time for blogging like I'm doing now: a post every other day. I can't promise anything, because I have to go to Hilversum everyday from 9 in the morning till a quarter to 6 in the evening.. So hopefully I can find some time for blogging, maybe with my friend Mira, who also awarded me with a Liebster award. More about that soon.
And also more about this tiny thing: I'm going to live in Utrecht!!! Those of you who follow me on Instagram might have already seen it, but I'm officially moving to Utrecht. Of course I'm gonna miss everyone back in Vlaardingen, where I've lived most of my life, but I'll come back there, especially in the weekends. I couldn't live without my family, friends, and especially not my girlfriend Rinske ♥.
Has school already started for you?
Have a happy September :-)

Shopping: Sneakers & Necklace
Do you remember my post about the amazing brandInkkas? And me stating how my favorites were the "Mojito" shoes, low top? Well, the people over at Inkkas were amazing enough to send me a pair. They apologized before sending them out: international shipping wouldn't be the best, but that wouldn't matter for me: I'd be going on a three weeks taking holiday! So when I'd come home, the shoes would be waiting for me. But international shipping wasn't slow at all. It was quick. I believe it was even in the first week of my holiday that I got a Whatsapp message from my sister, saying a package from Inkkas arrived.
And I absolutely love the shoes. They're so comfortable and eye-catching. I'll be doing an outfit post with them very soon!
Something else I'll be doing an outfit post with, is this lovely necklace. I bought it at the same store where I bought my neon shorts, shown here. They had all sorts of amazing neon items. It's lovely. Two of the stones fell out, but my amazing girlfriend Rinske had a trick (and I think it's a pretty good trick) to cover it up. We just took two stones from the ends of the necklace, and placed them in the missing parts. Had you already noticed the two blue stones missing? Or are you checking it out right now? If you had seen it: oh well, too bad haha, it's not such a good trick after all. If you hadn't seen it: ha!
Do you like these items? Are you excited for the outfit posts? ;-)

Shopping: Silver and Plastic
OK, I really can't help myself. After my short bag addiction, I totally came back to shoes. Shoes, shoes, shoes. I just can't leave them behind in a store when they're screaming for me to take them home, or can I? Nope.
I bought the first pair at Zara, and the second pair at Pull & Bear. They're perfect for the beach, and as I'm going to France in only two weeks, I'll be needing those! We're going to the south of France, and they don't know a sandy beach over there where we're going. So shoes are a must! And this year, I searched and searched and searched for a pair like these, because they make me remember my childhood haha. I just remember having these when I was a little girl. Did you have shoes like these as well?
And the silver heels, well, I couldn't help myself. Shiny things, high heels, a combination of the two.. Perfect, right??
And some other news... Those of you who follow me on Instagram must have already seen it, but I was a runway model for a day exactly one week ago! I walked in 4 different designs of 3 fashion design students. It was an exhausting day, being on the scene from 7.50 A.M. til about 11 P.M., but it's been great! Famous runway photographer Peter Stigter took pictures, and we'll be receiving some of his pics soon (hopefully)! Otherwhise I'd just like to refer you to my Instagram account, where you can already see some pics by other photographers!

Shopping: Mr. Gugu & Miss Go

"Keep Calm and Love Mr Gugu & Miss Go"
A few months ago I ordered some clothing I absolutely adored at the Polish website Mr Gugu & Miss Go. I ordered a swimsuit with a print of the birth of Venus (check it out in this post & also here) and a skirt I've been searching for for ages. So I checked the prices and I was amazed to see that I could actually afford these gorgeous items!! As fast as I could, I put them in my online shopping basket and went to the check out. I was super happy with my new purchases, but then it took quite a while for the items to arrive...
I checked my profile at the website again, and it turned out my order was canceled. So I sent Mr Gugu & Miss Go an e-mail and this was the beginning of a long, long e-mail conversation. Turned out, the workers of the website missed the order, as I payed from the Netherlands and I bought the items on a Polish website.. Technical talk, I guess. Then we had some more talk through e-mails and second bummer was that they didn't make the Venus swimsuit anymore. They had some problems with the graphics... Too bad, but the people over at Mr Gugu & Miss Go are amazing, as they showed me very fast which swimsuits they were still making, so I chose one. And they said they were gonna send me a gift as a compensation for the whole situation. "Ohh that's so nice!!" I thought.
And oh yes, they were nice. Very nice. They sent me 2 (two!!) bathing suits instead of one, and a button shown above (quite a great motto for the entire situation, don't you think?). Now all I've got to say is:
Thank you so much Mr Gugu & Miss Go for the compensation!!

What's on the pics?
galaxy swimsuit, cloudy swimsuit (not available anymore) and elephant skirt
The items look a little bit strange on the pics, that's because of my mannequin. She hasn't got a long enough body for the skirt so I had to use cardboard to not have it look even stranger. :-) I also had to use a small piece of cardboard on the bottom of the fitting doll, as it got a little bit too used over the years so she looks like she has a cameltoe if I don't use the cardboard haha.
How do you like these items?? Have a nice weekend guys! :-)

Shopping: Summer buys
Hi guys!
About two weeks ago I had a massive shopping trip with my mother and sister. I didn't want to buy too much, as I told myself I want to save money. Well, turns out I can't keep myself to saving money. I spent a lot. But I'm still happy with all of my items so then it's ok, right? Right??

What's on the pics?
1. From left to right: H&M conscious collection top // Pull & Bear jeans // H&M conscious collection top no. 2 // Zara dress. Above: Zara hat
2. Zara coat. Already posted in on Instragram, with the message "I came, I saw, I fell in love"
3. H&M Conscious Collection heels
4. H&M lace shoes
What do you think of the things I bought? Luckily the weather is getting better in the Netherlands, so I hope I'll be able to wear these lovely things soon. And now I really have to stop spending money.

Shopping: Perfect for Christmas
Hi guys!
December's almost here, just a few more days! Christmas fun is coming closer and closer, but here in the Netherlands we first have Sinterklaas to celebrate on the 5th of December! Then after that, it's all about Christmas. But, what to wear?? And what to wear on New Year's Eve?? Well, I'm planning on doing a Christmas outfit and make up ideas photoshoot. I'm not sure yet when we'll be doing the shoot, but I'll keep you guys up to date!
Here are some things I bought lately, both the top and the backpack are from a vintage store in Utrecht, Episode. You can also find this shop in Amterdam, Brussel,London, Paris and Copenhagen. Maybe you have visited their store once? I'd love to know what you guys bought over there, or what your thoughts are on the store! We used to have it in Rotterdam as well, but unfortunately it's gone. But as I'm studying in Utrecht and the store is not very far away from my school, I can still visit it often :-)
I've been looking for a backpack like this for sooo long. And, newsflash, I've bought more bags than shoes last month haha. I'm seeing a little shift in my addictions...

Shopping: Finally got my knuckle box
Hi guys!
Do you know the knuckle box? The incredible, extremely gorgeous knuckle box? Well, I got myself one of those incredible, extremely gorgeous knuckle boxes yesterday!! I've been craving it for such a long time now... It wasn't cheap at all, but my mother gave me a gift card (I still had to pay a lot though, but it helped, thanks mum! <3) so I just bought it. I knew I would regret it if I didn't buy it. So why not? Why not be a little crazy sometimes, if it will make you happy for a much longer time? And I can guarantee you: I'm happy. Super happy. Do you love this bag just as much as I do?

Shopping: Madden Girl glitter heels
Hi guys!
Two more exams to go... Wednesday and Thursday will be the last days, and then I'm all done! Holiday, celebrate! :-) As I thought I already deserved some celebrating, I went shopping today with my sister. I bought these Madden Girl heels, on which I had already set my eye a couple of weeks ago...
Do you like them?? I love the glitters haha. I've been looking for glitter heels for a long time, even before I saw these cuties. I'm also doing a glitter DIY on my keys. I saw a photo of a glitter key on Instagram so I decided that I could do that too!! Pics will be on Instagram soon and probably here on my blog as well ;-)
I hope I'll be posting outfit pictures again sometime soon. The weather is amazing here, so I'm wearing shorts and dresses without tights all day long. I've even walked around in my bikini already!! One thing I don't like about this sunny weather: I get sunburnt really quick. So yeah, you'll probably see a very red picture of me when I post outfit pictures! Hope you don't mind ;-)

Shopping: Versace for H&M
what, oh, what could possibly be inside this gorgeous shopping bag???

as you might have noticed just yet, I went to the H&M store in Rotterdam today! Their Versace for H&M collection was launched today. Unfortunately I couldn't go there early in the morning because of school.. But I went at about 11 o' clock. It was still extremely crowded in the store, and lots of the pieces were already sold out.. The pieces I wanted were sold out, so I bought a pair of SHOES!
Myyyy gosh they're sooo pretty! Hadn't even noticed them before I saw them standing there, asking me to try them on... Yes, the shoes were talking to me, haha. No, just kidding. But I realllly wanted them. So I tried them on, fell even more in love and soon found myself outside the store with a huge Versace for H&M shopping bag.
Then my lovely sister told me she ordered the items I was craving for online. Pictures of those items will be online as soon as they arrive! :) Today was a perfect day. Then my mother also just came home with thermo leggings.. I'm wearing them now and they are just ah-ma-zing haha!
So now you're probably curious about the shoes I bought, right? Well, here are my new lovely babies!!

Were you able to buy anything of the collection?
Love xx,
Saskia
